  1. I like the sprinkle of experience I see in all departments: goal keeping, defense, midfield and forwards. I guess we will be witnessing fireworks.

That having been said, I wonder what Zambia is doing to nurture such clear cut talent to full development. Zambia has dominated COSAFA at U20 for so long but the talented young stars that have made that possible have not blossomed to full potential. I attribute this to lack of activity of the U23 junior team.

  2. Patson Daka is also under 20 , why is not included?. How old is Charles Zulu ? We need to assemble the strongest squad technicaly and mentally to compete in next year’s CAF games so that the team qualifies to South Korea. FAZ should also approach GRZ on the need to operationise the duo citizenship in the constitution yo enable Chipolopolo mop out resources of Zambian heritage in Europe and across the globe, that’s how the so called big teams in Africa have become stronger.

    • ….strongest squad technically and mentally for sure, BUT NOT over aged players gentlemen! Patson Daka is no longer an under 20. We risk being banned like what happened with our ‘under 17’.

  3. Kalu is begging FAZ to endorse his bid for committee member at FIFA?!!! Why why Kalu of all people! You forget what u did to Mulonga! You scuppered his chance to be elected to Cosafa hey?! What goes round comes round, remember that boy….

  4. we got a lot of talent here in de copperbelt very good young players but we hve never seen any chance if were to improve zambian football we need to make sure dat talent is not wasted improve why 80 pecent of players in junior chipolopolo comes from lusaka wht abaut us here we ar all zambian and we want a fair chance

  5. According to commentaries I have been hearing on supersport over two years I can safely say the guys are U20. This is the reason I believe Zambia has some serious talent in this team.
However, If they are not then you guys can as well accept the name tag of master in cheating( footballers age) which I think is unlikely. I have been watchig Zambian soccer for ten years now.And guess what…… the league has some serious talent which in most cases is never fully developed.I can state a few players whom every one with the eye for identifying football talent would agree with me have not been nurtured to their full potential : Bornwell Mwape, Stanley Nshimbi,Shadreck Malambo, Jimmy Chisenga, Simon Silwimba,Alex N’gonga, Billy Mutale, etc. The list is endless. Some of Zambia’s good talent is not being helped by their moving to abroad.
Who should shoulder the blame for this? I guess it is the Zambian football fraternity. You included.

  6. Is Body Mkandawire U20? Good to see Linos Makwaza Junior in the team. He is following after his Father Linos and his Grandfather Dickson Makwaza who both played for the Zambia National team. Hope the young man will continue with the family legacy.

Dickson had greater impact at National team level.
