Zambian veteran striker James Chamanga has been made captain at his Chinese Super League side Liaoning Whowin.
The 36 year old finished last season with 14 league goals, 3 behind leading scorer Demba Ba.
This was his best tally beating his previous best of 9 goals during his time at Dalian Shide, his first Chinese Club.
Last season he was the club vice captain
The likes of Didier Drogba and Nicholas Anelka found and left him in the Chinese Super rich league.
Jacob Mulenga is also in the Chinese league.
The former Amakumbi and National Assembly midfielder has been in China since 2008 after he signed from South African side Moroka Swallows.
In South Africa, ‘Chama Boy’ or ‘Djemba’ also played for Bush Bucks and Supersport United.
He has been to the 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2013 AFCON has a record of scoring at four save for the 2013 edition.
He was part of the 2012 AFCON winning squad.
