The Zambia U-23 National Team has been boosted by the arrival of European based duo of midfielders Miguel Chaiwa and Mannah Chiwisa.
Chaiwa arrived in Cairo on Monday shortly after 20 hours while Chiwisa arrived about 2 hours later and we’re both received by team manager Lombe Chipupu.
The arrival of the duo completes Osward Mutapa’s squad for the two matches against the Young Pharaohs.
Chaiwa is on the books of Swiss side BSC Young Boys while Chiwisa is with Atalanta BC.
Zambia plays Egypt on Wednesday in the first leg encounter to be staged in Cairo. The return leg will be March 26 in Ndola.
The match will take place at the 30 June Stadium and kick off has been set at 18 hrs Central African Time.
