Zambia Super League defending Champions, Power Dynamos travel to Choma to take on Green eagles in a week 21 encounter.
The Kitwe based outfit will travel in a new Bus which was acquired and handed over to them by their sponsors Copperbelt Energy Corporation (CEC).
The new bus will act as motivation for the players after having some challenges travelling with the old bus .
CEC Managing Director, Owen Silavwe officially handed over the bus to the team stating how important it is for the players to have good services and hence the development ,which will make their work easier
“The handing over of the bus to you is a tool that will make your work easier,” he said.
“The bus won’t get us the goals, neither will it get us the results so we shouldn’t lose focus. I want you to look at the bus ,the same way you look at the boots,” he continued.
Silavwe who didn’t want to talk about the cost of the bus said the sponsors pumped in a lot of money,to show how much they love Power Dynamos and are confident in their abilities.
“Sponsors put in a lot of money and to me that’s the staff of confidence in the team , starting from the technical bench to the players themselves “
“We gave you this bus because we know, when we give you the best tools, you deliver the best results”
Team Captain Godfrey Ngwenya Thanked their Sponsors CEC for their kind Gesture , promising them continuous Hard Work starting from their week 21 away game in Choma against Green Eagles.
“You have been with us for so many years and you have also shown us the passion and being Champions doesn’t start from us but from you and we promise to work extra hard, hoping and praying that one day it will be handing over car keys to each player”.
Power Dynamos are currently standing in third place with 33 points, a point ahead of their opponents and 6 points behind first placed Zesco United.
