Catherine Musonda joins Israeli side, Hapoel Raanana

Zambia Women’s National Team goalkeeper Catherine Musonda has joined Israeli Premier League side Hapoel Raanana Women FC for the remainder of the 2023/24 season subject to extension.

Musonda joins the Ra’ anana based club after a short spell with Tomiris-Turan in Kazakhstan.

She becomes the second Copper Queens’ player to feature in the current league after forward  Rachael Nachula who plays for Hapoel Jerusalem.

Musonda joined Turan on a six month long deal from Indeni Roses in April last year.

Musonda was the Copper Queens’ first choice at the FIFA Women’s World Cup after Hazel Nali suffered a knee injury that saw her miss the global showpiece.
