CAF CL: Triple C scores and assists in Simba big win

Chipolopolo midfielder Clatous Chota Chama scored a goal as Simba SC thrashed Botswana side Jwaneng Galaxy 6-0 to seal their place in the 2023/2024 CAF Champions League quarter finals. 

Chama also registered an assist for the opener scored by Burundi’s Saidi Ntibazonkiza.

Pa Omar Jose, Denis Kibu, Kennedy Juma and Fabrice Ngoma also scored a goal each for the rampant Wekundu wa Msimbazi. 

Simba finished second in group B ahead of Wydad Casablanca who finished third in the group despite beating Asec Mimosas on the final day of group matches thanks to the head to head rule.  

Asec Mimosas finished top of the group with 11 points.
