Zambia National team midfielder Boyd Musonda has been left out of the Sensational ZANACO squad that has traveled to Equatorial Guinea for their CAF Champions League preliminary round encounter.
According to the traveling list that has been published by ZANACO media on their social media platforms, Musonda is not part of the team picked by coach Kelvin Kaindu for this trip.
It’s a decision that has left some soccer fans with a lot of question marks on his exclusion since it’s not clear whether the man nicknamed tanker has just been rested or dropped.
Musonda was on national duty the last few days and started in both matches during the Qatar FIFA 2022 world cup qualifiers where Zambia managed a 2-1win away in Mauritania and lost 2-0 at home to the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.
Zanaco is scheduled to face Akonangui Fc of Equatorial Guinea on Sunday at Estadio de Ebebiyin with kick-off set at 16:30 CAT.
Kevin kapumbu is by far better than boyd musonda and he was not training with the team. After he is not exceptional he failed to justify his inclusion in chipolopolo colours . He needs to fight for jersey.
As far as the Chipolopolo call up please let him rest. He is way below average for National Team call up. I don’t know what Chambeshi sees in him.

@tony mash mr kamanga is one big business man since his presidency we have seen local over professional ..chipante chipante boys for marketing clubs in sa Tanzania n tp mazembe..the likes of charles zulu,boyd mkandawire n many others who hav vanished in thin air once played for national team n now nowhr to b seen on the local scene as well..we need an only professional squad wheter it b div 2,3 whatever playing or not playing European soccer is about strategy football is not abt kick and run what abt chipante chipante boys do we need those boys playing in Europe to be in the team so that we play with strategy not running around like headless chicken ..to qualify we need a foreign coach n professionals bring all zambian born players bring all foreign based and make a strong team if not enough players last choice is to pick locals otherwise i say to all Zambians keep dreaming and crying on losses
