Rainford Kalaba and Given Singuluma were both in action for TP Mazembe in the CAF Champions League when the Congo club played to a goalless draw at home against Al Hilal.
The Zambian internationals both started the match with Kalaba playing the entire match. Singuluma was replaced at the start of the second half by Tanzanian international Mbwana Samatta.
Defender Kabaso Chongo was not named on the bench for the match. Nathan Sinkala who has returned from his loan spell at Grasshoppers was not registered for the Champions League.
Mazembe next play Moghreb Tétouan away in Morocco on 13th July in their second match of the group stage.
The other team in the four team group A is Smouha SC of Egypt who have taken an early lead in the group after they beat Moghreb Tétouan 3 – 2 at home.
Watched the game and was a little surprised at Givens substitution cause he was a live wire for TP.
