Rainford Kalaba, Nathan Sinkala and Kabaso Chongo were all in action for TP Mazembe on Saturday evening when the Congo DR club snatched a vital away point off Etoile du Sahel in the CAF Confederations Cup semi final.
Kabaso started in an unfamiliar left back position while Kalaba was at the tip of the attack.
Sinkala as usual was in the defensive midfield role.
Lahmar put the Tunisiansame in the lead in the 20th minute but Mazembe replied with a goal from Assale in the 54th minute.
Kalaba was part of the build up to the goal but it was brilliant finish by Assale whosee shot deceived the keeper who dived anticipating a cross only to see the ball roll in on the other side.
Kalaba was substituted in the 70th minute.
The return leg will be played next week on 25th September.
The winner over the two legs will face either Mo Beijaia of Algeria or Fc Rabat of Morocco.
According to the report Kalaba only played 7 minutes…..Why is it so??
Ok this sounds good wishing TP mazembe and zesco united all the best
How can they earn a point in a semi final match?
My thought as well……lol
Vital away goal!!!
