CAF CC: Dream come true for Aaron Kabwe

NAPSA Stars winger Aaron Kabwe says he is very grateful to God and his family for the achievements he has attained so far in his career.

Speaking to the Zamfoot Crew from Morocco before the Pensioners 2-0 loss to RS Berkane, Kabwe said it was a dream come true playing in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.

“I just want to thank God first of all for supporting me I also want to thank my family for supporting me, for me to reach here it’s only by the grace and support of God, when I came to Napsa I didn’t expect to play at this highest level first it was just all a dream and now am sure dreams come true,” he said.

“I’m also conscious with myself that I have to do the right thing with this Napsa stars team because this is not the end but the beginning, I just want to show that whatever you dream can come true if you work hard, I just want to thank the team for giving me this opportunity,” Kabwe added.

NAPSA suffered a 2-0 loss in their first CAF Confederation Cup group stage match, Hamza Hiamiani Akabi put the hosts in the lead in the 12th minute while Mouhssine Iajour sealed the result a minute before halftime.

Next up for NAPSA Stars is a home tie against Algeria outfit JS Kabylie on Wednesday, 17th March at the National Heroes Stadium.
