North Western based Zambia Super League side Trident FC has appointed former Green Eagles player Caesar Hakaluba as their new captain.
Hakaluba takes over from defender John Mwengani who has been skipper of the side until today.
Hakaluba will be deputised by Innocent Kashita and defender Fred Mwiche who is currently in camp with the Chipolopolo Boys preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Caesar Hakaluba, a former Green Eagles FC skipper will lead the Trident FC squad until the end of the season. He will be deputised by Innocent Kashita and International left-back Fred Mwiche.
The trio has replaced John Mwengani, Lee Ngoma and Jackson Silwimba on the captainship panel.”
Hakaluba will this afternoon captain the side against Kansanshi Dynamos in the Quantum derby.
The 2018 Green Eagles player of the season joined the Conquerors at the start of the season.
He also captained Green Eagles through their most successful period which saw them participate in the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup between 2018 and 2021.
Four years ago Hakaloba led Eagles to a third place finish to win bronze and $10 000 prize money at the CECAFA Kagame Cup in Rwanda.
