Zambian forward Derrick Bulaya has set an ambitious target of scoring at least ten goals for Costa Do Sol this season.
Bulaya told the ZamFoot Crew in an exclusive interview that he wants to score more than 10 goals for Costa Do Sol after opening his goal account for the club earlier this week.
Bulaya scored the opener as Costa do Sol played to a 1-1 draw with Ferroviario Nacala on Tuesday.
The Shamuel Academy product is happy to have opened his goal account and is now looking forward to adding more to his tally.
āI feel so great scoring my first goal for Costa Do Sol. I am hoping to score more goals for the club,ā Bulaya told the ZamFoot Crew.
“I want to score more than 10 goals for the club.ā
Bulaya assured the ZamFoot Crew that he is settling in well in Mozambique despite the language barrier as football is played on the pitch and it is the same everywhere.
“I am settling in well, everything is going well. Yes there is competition and the language may be different but football is played on the pitch,ā he said.
Bulaya joined the Mozambican outfit in June on loan from Choma based outfit Green Eagles. He spent last season on loan at Red Arrows. Bulaya penned a six months deal with Costa Do Sol.
Bulaya will be looking to follow in the footsteps of now Zambia U17 Womenās National team Video Analyst, Lineker Mwikisa who was an instant hit with Costa Do Sol.
Mwikisa scored 7 goals in Mozambique in just 13 games in his first stint before earning a loan move to Portugal playing for segunda liga out-fit Santa Clara.
