Ndola based side Buildcon football club have reignited their interest in Forest Rangers midfielder Shadreck Malambo and are looking to seal the deal in the winter transfer window, The ZamFoot Crew understands.
The Moses Mubanga sponsored side wanted to bring the midfielder a season ago but Fole Malembe refused to consider a deal, However, Malambo is now willing to leave Fole Malembe to regain a starting berth according to ZamFoot Crew sources close to the player.
The midfield general was a key member in Forest Rangers title chase last season which they eventually missed out on Nkana on the last day of the season after they failed to beat Zanaco at home.
The former Zambia U-20 national team player is one player who holds the midfield and can easily bring his teammates into play while creating scoring chances for his strikers.
Malambo has also played for top Zambian clubs like Red Arrows and the 13 times Champions Nkana for who he was key during the 2019 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
Malambo now looks certain to leave Forest Rangers this month as a free agent as his contract comes to an end on the 31st of December 2020.
Other clubs likely to join the race for his signature are Lusaka based Napsa Stars who really need depth in their team as they compete in both the CAF Confederations Cup and the Zambian super league.
