Buildcon came from a goal down to beat Kitwe United 2-1 to move back to the summit of the 2020/2021 Zambia Super League.
Kitwe United took the lead in the 47th minute through Mutela Mulambya but Team Kopala leveled matters in the 76th minute through Isaac Shamujompa who converted from the penalty spot after Mwansa Nsofwa was injured in the box.
Former Zambia U-20 national team forward Emmanuel Mwiinde came from the bench to score a winner in the dying minutes to make it 3 wins in three straight wins.
Elsewhere, Defending Champions, Nkana came alive today as they thrashed Green Eagles 3-1 to end a three-match winless run.
Nkana were two-nil up within just five minutes with Fred Tshimenga and Idris Ilunga Mbombo scoring.
Shadreck Mulungwe pulled one back in the 16th minute with a fine finish but Harrison Chisala restored Nkana’s lead as they cruised to a 3-1 win and move out of the relegation zone.
