Buffaloes out to dethrone Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies as Cosafa Queens

Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa face Green Buffaloes from Zambia in the decider of the 2022 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League | COSAFA Qualifier with both also to represent the region at the continental finals.

Green Buffaloes will be hoping to revenge the 1-0 defeat Sundowns inflicted on them 12 months ago in the same competition in the semi finals.

Buffaloes coach Charles Halubono has an array of Copper Queens stars to unleash on the South Africans.

Defenders Lushomo Mweemba, Agness Musase and Martha Lungu are all expected to start while Anita Mulenga will need to start a late fitness test.
