Log leaders Green Buffaloes have continued their poor run of form as they make it four games without a victory.
Kabwe Warriors on the other hand have moved into the top four following a 2-0 win over Kafue Celtic while defending Champions, ZESCO United recorded their second win in a row as they edged struggling Nkwazi.
The Zambia Super League entered week 16 of action this afternoon with five matches taking place around the country on a weekend of the Kopala derby.
In Lusaka , Log leaders, Green Buffaloes welcomed Team Kopala, Buildcon at Woodlands Stadium.
The visitors were the first to find the back of the net as Gift Lukwesa struck with a fine finish just after six minutes. Buffaloes were however back on level terms in the 27th minute, In-form Martin Njobvu with a beautiful headed goal.
The drama however came in to second half as Tapson Kaseba and Keziron Kizito scored a minute apart just after the restart to put the visitors in the lead, 3-1.
Paul Simpemba pulled one back two minutes later but Buildcon who had to play with a man less for the last 17 minutes after Monday Bwalya was given marching orders held on to win the match.
In Ndola, A Crawford Mwaba own goal was the difference as ZESCO United beat Nkwazi.
In Kabwe, The magnificent People’s team, Kabwe Warriors moved into the top four thanks to a 2-0 win over Kafue Celtic.
Jimmy Ndhlovu set up Ali Sadiki for the opener in the 73rd minute before turning finisher two minutes later to seal a well deserved win.
The win takes Warriors to 4th place on the log with 23 points.
2007 CAF young player of the year, Clifford Mulenga scored a free kick as Forest Rangers edged Konkola Blades away in Chililabombwe.
In Solwezi, Royd Alufonso was the hero as he netted the only goal of the game to seal a 1-0 win for Kansanshi Dynamos.
