Friday Samu scored the consolation for Buffaloes.
Lumwana are fresh from humbling another 2016 runners-up Zesco United who they beat 3 – 0 in their back yard and the back to back wins has seen the team rise to 8th position, 4 points outside the top four.
With Zanaco not in action until Sunday, Power Dynamos took advantage of the leaders’ slip-up to move into second position, three points behind the leaders.
Champions Zanaco are in third with Nkana occupying fourth position after they were held by Kabwe Warriors at Godfrey Chitalu Stadium level on points with Zesco United who won 2 – 0 away against Real Nakonde.
