Brazil beat Zambia 1-0 in a FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup encounter on Friday.

Striker Juju scored a brilliant goal in the first half to help the South Americans claim 3 points.

Copper Princesses midfielder Blessing Maluba was denied by the crossbar late in the match as Carol Kanyemba’s side chased for an equaliser.

Zambia gave a spirited performance despite the loss.

The Copper Princesses will return to the pitch Monday at 01h00 CAT to face Poland who played to a goalless draw with Japan.
