Binga, Kamwanga and Kanda lead ZamFoot XI for week 9 

Godfrey Binga, William Kamwanga and Dominic Kanda were impressive in The MTN Super League week nine and have been named in the ZamFoot XI. 

Binga netted a quick brace despite his side’s loss, William Kamwanga produced another fantastic showing while Dominic Kanda dominated the midfield and provided two assists. 

ZAMFOOT XI FOR WEEK 9 

GK; Kabwe Mulenga ( Mufulira Wanderers)- The Mighty Mufulira Wanderers goalkeeper put in a great shift against Nkana. He denied Nkana especially in the first half. 

He was also named the Mufulira Wanderers player of the match for his fantastic performance. 

LB: Peter Kalota ( Red Arrows)- Kalota put in a good shift against Nkwazi at Edwin Imboela Stadium. 

He also made a vital clearance to deny Nkwazi a goal in the 86th minute. 

RB: William Kamwanga (Mighty Mufulira Wanderers)- They say a great name comes with great responsibility, but William seems to be doing justice to the Kamwanga name. 

He was again one of the stand out players and also scored the winning goal as Mufulira Wanderers edged Nkana 1-0 at Chilata. 

CB: Fredrick Mwimanzi (ZANACO)- Mwimanzi was good both in defense and in attack. 

He scored one of the goals for the Bankers who beat Mutondo Stars 2-0. He also helped his side keep a clean sheet. 

CB: Aaron Musonda ( Mutonda Stars)- Despite Mutondo Stars losing 2-0 to ZANACO, Aaron was the stand out player. He put in a brilliant shift, he was calm and composed. 

He was also named as the Topstar official player of the match. 

DMF: Dominic Kanda (Midfielder)- The young Midfielder set up both goals for ZANACO in their 2-0 win against Mutondo Stars. 

CM: Gift Samanansa ( FC MUZA)- He came off the bench to score a beautiful winner for FC MUZA who came from two goals down to beat NAPSA Stars 3-2. 

CM: Clenn Afful ( Konkola Blades) – The midfielder put in a good shift and opened his goal account as Konkola Blades beat Green Buffaloes 2-0. 

LW:Willy Bengele Bokingo ( Kansanshi Dynamos) – The Congolese winger came off the bench to score and rescue a point for Kansanshi Dynamos against Mines United. 

The goal was his first in the Mabanga Boys colours. 

RW: Golden Zansi ( Konkola Blades)- Last season’s top goalscorer in the ZPL Men’s National League finally opened his goal account for Konkola Blades. 

He played a big role as the ‘Sharp Razor’ sliced the Buffaloes, 2-0 in Chililabombwe. 

CF: Godfrey Binga ( NAPSA Stars) – The former Kabwe Warriors talisman scored a quick fire brace in the first half. 

Unfortunately his side gave away the two goal lead to lose 3-2 to FC MUZA.
