Zambia National Team midfielder Benson Sakala has joined Czech Republic top-flight side FK Mladá Boleslav, the club has confirmed.
The former Power Dynamos captain has been training with Bolesláv for the last fifteen days.
The defensive midfielder has signed a two-year contract with Bolesláv until June, 2025 from second-tier side FK Viagem Příbram.
Sakala, 27, moved to Czech Republic back in 2021 from Super League side, Power Dynamos.
In Czech, Sakala first played for FK Viktoria Žižkov before making a switch to FK Viagem Příbram in the summer of 2022.
In the 2022-23 season, Sakala played 23 matches in the Second Division Championship matches and scored once.
Since his Chipolopolo debut in 2015, Sakala has made twenty-three starts for the Zambian national team.
The Zambian international has already made his debut for Mladá Boleslav, last Saturday during the 4-4 club friendly match draw with Dukla Prague, he played 61 minutes.
