Zambian striker Benjamin Chisala scored a brace to help Nõmme United seal promotion to the Meistriliiga (Known as A. Le Coq Premium League for sponsorship purposes), the highest division of Estonian Football.
Chisala scored two second half strikes to seal Nõmme United’s 4-1 win over FC Tallinn.
United opened the scoring in the 25th minute when Nikita Vassiljev scored with a brilliant low shot from a close range free kick.
Kevin Mätas doubled the lead at the end of the first half with a close range finish.
Chisala added two goals in the second half. First a close range strike in the 59th minute before sealing the result in the dying minutes, going round the goalkeeper before slotting home.
Chisala has scored 4 goals so far for Nõmme since his switch from Atletico Lusaka last month.FC Tallinn’s consolation goal was scored by Kirill Nesterov, a brilliant strike, easily the best of the bunch.
With the victory they moved to 83 points, 11 above Viimsi JK in second place and with only three match days to go before the end of the season United secured their place in the A. Le Coq Premium League for next season.
Defender Ricky Chanda put in another solid full shift for Nõmme United, he has eleven goal contributions so far this season (7 goals and 4 assists).
