Israeli Premier League side, Hapoel Be’er Sheva has confirmed the acquisition of Chipolopolo midfielder Klings Kangwa as earlier reported by the ZamFoot Crew.
Kangwa has penned a four-year deal with Be’er Sheva from Serbian champions, Red Star Belgrade.
He returns to the Israeli club after having spent the 20217/18 season at the club’s youth team where he scored 9 goals.
Kangwa says he is excited to join Be’er Sheva and can’t wait to experience the amazing atmosphere at the Toto Turner Stadium.
“I’m excited to return to the club where I played in the past and gave me many tools that have helped me throughout my career. I have great memories of the club and the City,” he said.
“I appeared at Toto Turner Stadium a number of times during my time here, the atmosphere was amazing and I can’t wait to experience that as a player.”
Kangwa spent the last part of last season on loan at Belgian top-flight side KV Kortrijk.
The 25-year-old scored 12 goals and provided 9 assists in 56 appearances for the Serbian side in all competitions since joining them in 2022.
Kangwa and Be’er Sheva will compete in the UEFA Europa Conference League this season.
