Barbra Banda named NWSL MVP 

Copper Queens striker Barbra Banda was named NWSL Championship MVP after leading Orlando Pride to victory in the early hours of Sunday morning. 

The Zambian international scored 4 goals in 3 matches as Pride cruised to their first NWSL Championship. 

Banda’s four goals in the NWSL playoffs are the most goals scored in a single post season by a player. 

The former Green Buffaloes player, in her first season has managed to win the NWSL Championship MVP, NWSL Championship medal, NWSL Shield while equaling the most season goal tally by an Orlando Pride player.
