Zambia Under-17 coach Ian Bakala is expected to make changes for Wednesday night’s crucial Group B match CAF U17 African Cup of Nations against South Africa, the ZamFoot Crew understands.
Kick off @21h00 CAT.
Both sides lost their opening match of the tournament, Zambia going down 1-0 to Nigeria while while South Africa lost 2-0 to Morocco.
According to the ZamFoot Crew sources in Constantine, Algeria, Bakala will make two to three changes.
“He might change the left back and winger,” the ZamFoot Crew revealed.
If he does that then right footed Lweendo Chimuka who started at left back might either pace way or switch to right back.
Jonathan Kalimina, scorer of the hatrick in the friendly match against Senegal might then drop left back, a role he occupies at Young Crocs.
The other scenario is to push David Hamansenya to left back and then drop captain Mbemba Phiri into central defence with Obvious Mwaliteta slotting in the holding role.
In an event Mbemba or Lweendo switch to right back then Aaron Simpasa might be pushed further up the pitch on either on the flanks or in the hole.
Best wishes to the future Chipolopolo.
