Zambian wing wizard Augustine Mulenga has been in fantastic form this season and leads the South Africa DSTV Premiership top assisters chart.
Mulenga joined Usuthu at the start of the 2020/2021 season and he’s been an integral part of Usuthu’s shock title challenge to Mamelodi Sundowns with 10 assists and five goals in 22 games to his name.
The Chipolopolo forward leads the assists chart with the closest player to him, Peter Shululile of Mamelodi Sundowns only managing six assists.
His fine form has also seen him nominated for the nomination for the Kick-Off Footballer of the Season award alongside Sundowns duo of Peter Shululile and Themba Zwane, Ruzaigh Gamildien of Swallows FC, Cape Town City’s Mduduzi Mdantsane, Bradley Grobler of Supersport United, and Pirates duo of Fortune Makaringe and Deon Hotto who won the accolade in 2019.
