The Zambia National team, CHAN squad captain Adrian Chama believes the team is ready for tomorrow’s opener against Tanzania at the ongoing African Nations Championship.
The Zambian skipper will make his third appearance at CHAN after the first one being the 2016 and 2018 respectively.
Chama was a late inclusion in coach Micho’s squad as he impressed during the Fans select team vs The all-stars last month which earned him a call up to the team.
“The morale in camp is high and like the team, we are focused and we are looking forward to tomorrow’s game and being the late inclusion I think it doesn’t change anything for me I feel the team was there and am just part of the team and it’s not up to me alone but it’s up to the team am only part of the team and together as a team we can achieve and do exploits,” He said.
Zambia begins its campaign with the Taifa stars of Tanzania on Tuesday 19th January 2021 and before battling out with Guinea four days later on Saturday, 23rd January and they will conclude the group stages with Namibia on 27th January. The African Nations will run from 16th to 7th February 2021.
