Zambia Super League Champions, Red Arrows are set to lose Malian midfielder, Alassane Diarra.
The ZamFoot Crew understands that Diarra will be heading to Saudi Arabia soon.
The Malian midfielder was key for Chisi Mbewe’s men in their run to winning the 2021/2022 Zambia Super League title and reaching the final of the ABSA Cup.
He was named as the most consistent player of the season at the club’s end of season awards.
Diarra joined the Airmen in January 2020 from Kafue Celtic after an amazing start to the 20019/2020 Eden University National Division One.
Diarra will be the Airmen’s second big name player departure after defender Tresor Tshibwabwa completed his switch to South Africa DSTV premiership side, Sekhukhune United.
The airmen have been in the market and have already acquired a few good prospects in Brian Chilimina, Peter Chikola, Richard Daka, Thomas Zulu and Albert Kangwanda.
Arrows are busy with their preseason and will head to Tanzania next month for a game against Young Africans Sports Club to mark Yanga’s celebration of its Citizens Week.
