Three times CAF Champions League winner Given Singuluma was on target on Thursday afternoon to help TP Mazembe to a 3-0 win over Bazano FC in the Congolese Linafoot scoring a brace while Rainford Kalaba got the third.
New TP Mazembe Hubert Velud started with four Zambians except for Jonas Sakuwaha who is still waiting for paperwork from Zesco United after the expiry of his loan spell.
Kabaso Chongo at right full back while Nathan Sinkala and Rainford Kalaba re-united in the middle of the pack with the latter back in action after an extended break in Ndola.
Singuluma, playing out wide on the left, he got his goals courtesy of an Asante corner as well as an assist from Kalaba.
This is Singuluma’s second brace in his last 2 games, making it a return of 6 goals from 4 games this year.
Mazembe’s next game is against Lubumbashi Sport before winding up the Linafoot with a derby game against Lupopo.
After that it will be the CAF Super Cup on 2oth February then the Congolese play offs
Weldone singuluma
We have strikers now……..Evans Kangwa and Singuluma re slowly becoming scoring machines….
Singuluma is on fire this season. Given is back.Mbesuma, kalengo and Katongo have rekindled there football careers
Singuluma is not on fire, he is just what he is, its the coach who playing him in the right positions.
Its good this guy keeps banging goals as Kalengo will be injured when we are playing Congo Brazaville, that’s the plan, those Congolese ndombolo will injure him purposely because they are scared that if he plays then we will drstroy them.
kikikikiki…I guess we know have prophets blogging here as well….lol
Iwe Big Steve, I did not claim to be a prophet, but if you wanna label me that, then that’s fine. My prediction is a no brainer, but merely sends caution to Kalengo if anything.
Hehehehehe! Day made.
hilarious..Ndombolo haha
the world cup is ours to qualify for
we are going nowhere with george lwandamina. Mark my words. He is not a world class coach.
No we are going somewhere with the team the defense is solid we just need to reinforce it with likes of Sunzu, Mweene has some issue here at home JB has stated knocking on the door for the #1 slot. Kalaba, Chisamba, Singuluma, Mbamba aka Kabaso Chongo, Evans Kangwa, Lubambo Musonda, lol Lamisha and Tika Musonda, Mwikisa, Mbesuma, Kalengoal, Sate Sate, the list is endless , we have a team may be ba Nkonko should play his cards well in the qualifiers. Am not disputing that we need a new coach but we need support what we have at the moment who knows may be Ba Nkonko is a Zamfoot follower. We need encourage each other as patriotic Zambians, no one is happy when Zambia is to the loosing side but there is nothing we can do if we can’t encourage each one of us as Zambia. Chicken he is our son and at the moment FAZ is broke busy paying their CEO who has been living abroad pretending to love Zambia and yet its business at the expense of TAX PAYERS money by imposing the players on the coach, am not accusing anyone just the proverb NO SMOKE WITHOUT FIRE! Ba Nkonko should stand on ground to fly the flag High than thank you sir yes bwana. ZESCO should ask Lwandamina full service, they are paying him full salary and he still with national team, ala yama ba NKONKO chimbwi afwile intanganana.
Kalengo, mbesuma, evans, singuluma chris and kalaba supporting the stricking…mmmmmm ….wil be unstopable by any defence. Congrats guys fo your good form.
Are you sure Roja Roja?
unstoppable for where.Even teams with better strikers aren’t saying they are unstoppable.Look at Algeria.look at their strikers. The likes of Mahrez and even their defense and midfield and compare to ur so called unstoppable.
Meaning the congolese league has less than 10teams in it…
Their league is divided in 3 zones/groups; each zone has at least 8 teams. TP plays in the Southern&Central Zone/group; teams that pass this stage go into play-offs. This is dictated by the size of the DRC. In fact it’d make more sense for TP and other Lubumbashi teams to join the Zambian league!!! Just like Israel is a member of UEFA instead of the Asian Football Federation for security reasons
Well done Singalume but truth be told he has always been a goal scoring machine. @Just Watching is correct our coaches just don’t seem to know were to play him. He attacks from the wing that’s his strength but the coaches always have a headache because on the same wings is Chisamba and Kalaba so they end up playing him in the middle.
we always having scoring problems because Lwandamina does not pick players on merit.and if so happens that a player is selected then he is always used in a wrong position altogether.he needs to improve.
Just doing his job lol.well done saing singuluma
These are players that we need for the national team not those who are warming the bench
My problem is hw gud r these teams, even kalega goal he is banging goals at will. The big q is r these ligues strong, if they were here o SA the story could hv bin different
T.P Mazembe where Given is playing has played Clup World Cup played AC Millan if you google about AC Millan am sure you are aware about Italian League. Sometime back They conquered Champions League, correct me on this one; The greatest player am missing in the name of Ronaldinho played for AC Millan. The likes of Kaka I guess you know the 5 time World Champions. I don’t know about Kalengoal but the good part is he is having game time and he is scoring. I am sure if the league is not that strong compared to SA League even though I do not follow SA League the one call supa disk. By the way am not sure if TP Mazembe has missed participating in the CAF Champions League ,which team in SA that has been constant qualifying and winning the CAF Champions League?
