In an entertaining late afternoon kick-off, Lubambo Musonda’s Śląsk Wrocław visited Wisła Kraków. A resounding victory would send Śląsk to the summit of the league table.
Lubambo was named in the starting XI and deployed on the right-wing in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Wisła dominated the first half with 61% possession compared to Śląsk’s 39%.
Both teams played attacking football and created scoring chances. Some good work on the right-wing by Lubambo forced an error on the opposition defense which resulted in a penalty. The resulting penalty was converted by Robert Pich in 17th minute, to give Śląsk a 1-nil lead.
Lubambo was lively. Pressing the opposition and winning back possession. He sent a shot over the bar following a neat dribble on the left-wing.
Wisła continued to mount pressure. In the 40th minute, Wisła got their deserved equalizer courtesy of a deflected Yeboah effort.

Lubambo was withdrawn in 57th minute for striker Piotr Samiec-Talar in what seemed to be a tactical substitution.
Śląsk eventually took the lead in the 75th minute when Robert Pich completed his brace via a good team build-up.
Śląsk wrapped up the game in the 85th minute when Waldemar Sobota scored a penalty, following a foul on Robert Pich in the box.
