ABSA Bank is expected to be announced as the new title sponsors for the National Division One League, the ZamFoot Crew can reveal.
The ZamFoot Crew understands that the Zambian Premier League has clinched a new deal for the second tier league.
The ZPL recently unveiled a deal for the Super League with leading betting company Betway valued at K10 Million for a year.
The League has been without a sponsor since FAZ and Eden University parted ways last year in August.
In November, 2018 FAZ, and Eden University penned a K1.1 Million deal to make the higher learning institution the first headline sponsor of the National Division One League.
The deal was renewed in 2020 with Eden University pumping in K1, 840, 000.
It’s not clear however the length of the new deal with ABSA Bank for the National Division One League.
ABSA Bank already sponsors the only Cup Competition in the Country, The ABSA Cup.
