ZESCO United and Nkana become the first two teams to book places in the semifinals of the 2025 ABSA Cup.
ZESCO saw off Konkola Blades while Nkana scraped past Kansanshi Dynamos to set up an exciting semi final match up.
United, who are chasing a record extending seventhABSA Cup title, are on course following their qualification to the semifinals.
The Ndola based outfit saw off National Division One log leaders Konkola Blades 2-0 at Arthur Davies Stadium in an early kick off on Saturday.
Goals from Abraham Siankombo and Lindo Mkhonta were enough to hand Emmanuel Siwale’s side a comfortable win.
Meanwhile, 2019 winners Nkana sneaked into the semifinals after seeing off Kansanshi Dynamos in a dramatic match quarter final encounter.
Nkana again needed post match penalties to progress to the last four after doing so in the round of 16 against Roan United.
Kalampa won 3-2 on post match penalties after a goalless draw at Arthur Davies Stadium.
