Democratic Republic of Congo coach Sébastien Desabare had applauded the performance of his team.
The Leopards were at best in Wednesday’s 1-1 draw against the Copper Bullets.
Had they being clinical, the 1968 and 1974 Champions could have collected maximum points.
“I think we had a plan because Zambia is very strong with these players but today I think the difference with my team is we played a very good game,” Desabare said in a post match reaction
“A lot of people don’t know the speed and the quality of this team, but they are very strong players, but my team played good football and were fantastic,” he said.
Congo face Morocco on Sunday while Zambia and Tanzania will go head to head.
