Red Arrows end Siavonga camp…Date Nkwazi, Aguila and Warriors in final stretch of preparations

MTN Super League side Red Arrows Football Club has concluded its week long pre-season training camp in Siavonga and they have since returned back home.

According to a post on their official Facebook page monitored by the ZamFoot Crew, the camp laid a strong foundation for the 2025/26 campaign with “a well balanced mix of fitness, technical, tactical and team building drills.”

“Against the tranquil backdrop of Lake Kariba, the squad worked tirelessly to sharpen endurance, power and agility through structured fitness routines, including interval running, strength training and plyometric workouts. On the technical front, ball mastery, precision passing and dynamic shooting drills took centre stage while tactical sessions simulated real match scenarios with emphasis on positional play, pressing and set pieces among others.

And these were not just theories, they were tasted drills in the two local friendlies played against Turbine and Welcome Football clubs where the Airmen scored 4 goals in each match.” Reds part of the statement on the page.

Beyond the pitch, team bonding was a key theme,  with players engaging in leadership exercises and off field activities that strengthened team de corps and collective spirit.

Meanwhile the club has announced that it will play a series of high profile friendly matches at Nkoloma Stadium to set and test the squad’s progress.

They face Super League sides Nkwazi and Kabwe Warriors as well as National League side Aguila Stars.
