Congolese striker Heritier Nkonko scored a hat-trick to help the champions come from behind to beat relegation bound City of Lusaka 4 – 1 in a rescheduled week 30 match.
City who have only won twice the whole season made a false start Bondo put them ahead in the 15th minute, but Zanaco replied with goals from Nkonko and one from Chipolopolo international Ernest Mbewe.
The win sees Zanaco move into second position on 54 points, 2 points behind leaders Green Buffaloes.
