The MTN/FAZ Super League over the weekend reached the halfway mark with ten very exciting matches played across the country and as usual the Zamfoot crew was on hand to pick their best performers from the games.
The weekend saw Nchanga Rangers continue their struggle while Zesco United ended Choma Green Eagles give game unbeaten run.

GK – Mangani Banda – The Sensational Zanaco goal minder gave a good account for himself against a tricky Nkwazi side making some good saves despite conceding one goal.
LB : Roderick Zimba -Zimba – The Nkwazi left back is an old fashioned full back. Very strong on the ball and difficulty to beat on the ground. Even against speedy and tricky Ernest Mbewe he ensured his end of the back 4 was well plugged.
RB: Matteo Ndashe – The Green Eagles right back is known for his remarks folded shorts. Ndashe is a very composed and versatile player. Against Zesco United he made Sure Jesse Jackson Were changed sides to try his luck on the other side as he let nothing get past him.
CB: Ziyo Tembo – The Zanaco captain cee up against an agile centre forward, in Christopher Zulu and He stood tall and strong helping Zanaco to victory.
CB: Lewis Musonda – The Lumwana centre back gave no room to. Nchanga Rangers strikers making some good clearances and last ditch tackles to help the team from North Western keep a clean sheet. He was also voted fans man of the match.
DF: Devon Chafa – The Buildcon defensive midfielder was very influential in the match in breaking up Power dynamos midfield play and played a box to box role very well.
CM : Clatous Chota Chama – The Lusaka dynamos captain was at his terrorizing best and Nkana could hardly find answers to his briliance. The former Zesco United midfielder was also on hand to score a goal as Lusaka dynamos cruised to a two nil win over Nkana.
LWF : Alex Ng’onga – The Power dynamos scored the only goal of the game as Power dynamos beat Buildcon. He was lively through out the match and if not for some poor decisions and great goalkeeping he would have scored more.
RWF: Charles Zulu – The Zanaco wing wizard was a menace to the Nkwazi defence and set up the first goal before scoring the winner.
CF: Lazarus Kambole – The Zesco United star striker was again at his very best and ended the match with a goal.
CF : Chris Mugalu- The 2017 top goalscorer held the ball well upfront and set on a great run before squaring the ball for Clatous for the first goal and also netted a beauty of a second goal.
Player of the week – Lazarous Kambole, The Zesco United striker assisted the first goal before netting Zesco United’s third in typical Kambole fashion. He was a threat all evenning against a well organised Green Eagles defence.
Coach of the week : George Lwandamina, Chicken masterminded the down fall of Choma Green Eagles ending their five match unbeaten run and that earns him the Zamfoot coach of the week.
