Lovely!! I missed these. Always good to hear how the local guns are doing.
Currently watching Rwanda playing Ivory Coast and the gap in class couldn’t be bigger. Our friends in West and North Africa are miles ahead of us here in Cosafa and Cecafa region. And it’s not hard see why. Our friends have genuine pros playing in Europe. Leagues in Egypt and other North African nations are run professionally. We are being left behind because somehow we don’t have the numbers in terms of players in competitive leagues in Europe.
And to make matters worse those running the game in Zambia are just in for money. They have no clear strategy to raise the bar. How sad is this!
Well said how I wish there were more Zambians like you and I, in terms of football thinking. You have said it no more no less
My brother we used to have proper administrators with Zambia at heart. That’s why we had Midlands vs Copperbelt matches to help in team selection. We had a very strong Zambia A and a very competitive Zambia B. That’s why after the Gabon disaster we still had a team to compete at the highest level. It’s all about planning and having the right people in authority. What we have now is a joke. Kids who’ve just graduated from under 20 are now the spine of the team? Like really? ???
