The MTN/FAZ Super League week 21 fixture was one of the most exciting this with alot of shocks and emphatic wins.
A number of players put in very impressI’ve performances giving the Zamfoot crew a big headache in choosing the best eleven.
Team of the week
GK- Scot Ngokene – The Kabwe warriors shot stopper made a number of impressive saves to deny Red Arrows. He also managed to keep a clean sheet.
LB-Zimisileni Moyo – The Zanaco left back was easily the best player for the bankers in Choma and despite the loss he did his work exceptionally well with great interceptions and blocks. He was also fantastic going forward.
RB-Matel Ndashe – The Green Eagles right back has kept his impressive displays and Zanaco had to find out the hard way. He was simply on top of his game before in defense and offense for the Choma out-fit.
CB-Clement Mwape – The Kabwe warriors defender was one of the reasons why they kept a clean sheet as he made vital blocks and interceptions.
CB- Chilimba Moonga – The GBFC defender was calm and collected when ever he was on the ball helping the soldiers keep a clean sheet.
DMF-Lazarous Muchinga- The young GBFC defensive midfielder is growing in confidence and he showed his class against Nakambala with an impressive display, protecting the back four and distributing the ball well.
CM-Jeff Banda- The Nkwazi midfielder was the main architect of New Monze Swallows . He scored a goal and controlled play well earning his place in the team of the week.
RW – Jesse Jackson Were- The Zesco United talisman was on fire and scored a brace and assisted another as Zesco United beat Forest Rangers by three goals to two in a local derby.
LW – Alex Ng’onga – The Power dynamos striker put on a show for the Abayellow faithfuls setting up Lameck Kafwaya for the opener and notching up a brace. He was a constant threat to the opposition defenders through out the match.
SST- Emmanuel Chabula- The Kitwe United scored a hatrick to lead Chingalika to a four goals to one win over KYSA.
ST-Conlyde Luchanga – The 2017 U20 AFCON winner made his return to the starting line up after a lengthy lay-off and he immediately took matters into his hands scoring a brace.
Player of the week – Emmanuel Chabula – The hatrick hero has been named player of the week but had stiff competition from Luchanga, Ng’onga and JJ Were.
Coach of the week – Aggrey Chiyangi, The Green Eagles coach mastermind the downfall of the bankers .
