Zambia Under-15 Boys and Girls have qualified for the semi-finals of the CAF African Schools Football Championship, COSAFA Qualifier, South Africa 2025.
Both teams advanced after recording a pair of wins against Comoros at the Idas Valley Sports Complex in Stellenbosch this morning.
The Girls cruised past Comoros with a cricket scoreline of 11–0 on Pitch 1 and will now meet Malawi in the semi-finals this afternoon.
Sandra Mutale and Hildah Kangwa both netted a hat-trick, while Vwanganji Nampemba, Christine Mwale, Idah Lungu, Justina Chisanga and Jane Mwitwa each scored a goal.
On Pitch 2, the Zambia Under-15 Boys whitewashed the island nation with a 6–0 goal galore.
A hat-trick from Maxen Msimuko, a brace from captain Charles Sitali, and a goal from Michael Chilinda sealed Zambia’s date with Malawi at 15:00 hours this afternoon.
