Vandenbroek watches former Chipolopolo captain in Mazembe, Pirates friendly

Chipolopolo boss Sven Vandenbroeck has continued showing a fantastic work ethic by watching Zambian stars as T.P Mazembe faced Orlando Pirates at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Up to five Zambians are on the books of the two clubs that squared off in a friendly yesterday.

These are Justin Shonga, Augustine Mulenga, Rainford Master Kalaba, Nathan Sinkala and Kabaso Chongo.

The Zambia gaffer is getting as much data as possible watching matches in person barely a week in the country.

Speaking on his official unveilling on Tuesday, the Belgian opened the door to the Chipolopolo saying, “As long as players were motivated 100 % performing for their clubs, they were welcome to the national team.”

Pirates are on the Copperbelt for a series of pre-season preparatory matches.
