By Lucky Mwewa Chama

News coming out of Tanzania indicates that Premier League side Azam FC have sacked the entire George Lwandamina led technical bench following a string of poor results.

The source says the decision has already been taken and a press statement will be made available in due course.

However, no official statement has been released by Azam Football Club management.
Azam has only managed 3 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats in their first 8 matches of the season and are currently sitting in 8th position with 11 points in the 2021-22 season and are 9 points off the pacesetters, Yanga SC.

The Ice cream makers have scored 6 goals and have allowed 7 goals so far.

Lwandamina joined Azam FC on 4th December 2020 and was in charge of the club in the CAF Confederation Cup where they were eliminated by Egyptian side Pyramids FC.

Last month, the club rubbished rumours regarding the termination of the coach’s contract which was followed up with a contract extension for the 58 year old Zambian gaffer.
