Sunzu interview on arrival at LOSC

Stoppila, hello. Can we know your sensations neo-Lille?
This is very good news for me to join a club like LOSC. I know Herve Renard long time, his presence here was an important element in making my decision to commit myself with Lille. He is like a father to me. We have wonderful memories in common, like the African Nations Cup won in 2012 with Zambia. It was he who chose to reposition myself as a central defender and it’s to this position that I managed to make myself a place.

What motivated your coming LOSC?
I’ve evolved with Sochaux in Ligue 1, Lille but it is a level above! I will do my best to give everything on the field when the coach will call me. I was able to watch some matches of the team when I was in Shanghai. There are good players and good potential to make a good run this season. In the group, I know including Vincent Enyeama, I met him several times at international matches. This is an excellent keeper.

Precisely, about LOSC, you already know its infrastructure or you discover?
I still had not stayed at Domaine de Luchin, it is an impressive training center. For cons, I’ve been playing with Sochaux Stade Pierre Mauroy (08/02/14, 2-0). The enclosure is really beautiful. I am happy to be here and really looking forward to treading the lawn with my new team.

Finally, a little message for the fans?
I’ll try to give my maximum at each meeting, but also to bring a more through my head set, for example. I will do everything I can to help the LOSC to get good results.

Stoppila Sunzu thank you and welcome LOSC!

  1. phew!!!! finally out of China. Now for one of our very best to show the world that there is still massive talent that wears Zambian colours.

HR almost pulled off a miracle at Souchax when he took them to the verge of almost winning the relegation battle at a point when they were already written off from Ligue 1. Yes we have a number of people on this blog who will not recognise that and still will take the low road of trashing HR.

Now with a club of this stature and players of this quality the champions league dream should become reality.

Sunzu please do not pull another Mayuka on us, perform for two three games then think you are made and slump down to even struggling to be on the bench. Please keep up the good work and hard work and never think you have arrived. This is only the beginning of great things. Well done for not hesitating to make this move and jumping at the opportunity with both hands. Well done we are all very proud of you. Even the usual negative crew will be happy about this.

  2. If Mayuka leaves th saints it will b a big plus and soton wl live to regret wen they meet in Europe wt spartak moscow coz”that boy….” Mayuka is very discplined despite earning a lot of money £15000 a week (no one zambian footballer gets more than him)now n being one of th youngest proffessional he maintained his humility, and neva for once has ever been quoted to complaining (like chisamba)….that is true proffessionalism and well mannered person….he will be blessed very soon,u wl come tell me

  3. All the best Stopilla, I just wish we could have 6 more players in Europe. Critical position we are yet to see great improvement is the striking force. If Mayuka ,Lubambo , Kangwa and Singuluma could up the game, Zambia will not be same
