Sunzu extends goal scoring form to club

Zambia national team defense kingpin Stopilla Sunzu scored a goal for his French Ligue 2 side Metz when they beat Niort 3 – 0 on Friday evening.

Sunzu who was in great form playing for Chipolopolo last week playing in the back to back Africa Cup qualifiers against Guinea Bissau was on target for Zambia when they won 2 – 1 at home.

He returned to his base and was named in his team’s starting XI against 8th placed Niort.

The Ligue 2 leaders were hanging on a lone goal lead in the going into the second half but the huge centre back eased the tension when he reacted the quickest in the box to finish a Gakpa assist from close range.

  1. Sunzu scored for every club he played for. His scoring record is so amazing considering that he plays centre back. This makes him exceptional and he is in his on class.
