12th December, 2021, Brenden Rogers decided to give the Zambian international a rare start ahead of English man and club legend Jamie Vardy, his first start for the Foxes as Newcastle United visited Filbert Way.
Daka took the opportunity with both hands and did not disappoint as scored a goal and assisted in City’s 4-0 win over Newcastle United.
Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans put Leicester City in the lead from the spot in the 38 minute after James Madison was brought down in the box.
In the second half, Daka made it 2-nil thanks to an assist from Harvey Barnes, quite an easy tap in but the Zambian made no mistake and most importantly was in the right place at the right time.
Daka was heavily involved in the build up to the third goal and he made a beautiful run on the left side before laying the ball to Madison who set up Tielemans for a third of the match.
The Kafue native then turned provider for the fourth goal as James Maddison wrapped up the win in the 85th minute.
Leicester City will host Newcastle United at King Power Stadium on Boxing Day with kick off set at 17:00 Central African time.
City will be looking for their eighth win in the last ten games in all Competitions.
City have beaten Newcastle United five times in the last ten meetings but the Magpies look a different side of late and are unbeaten in the last 14 games.
Daka on the other hand will be hoping to add to the three goals he has already notched up this season.
