Zambian champions Red Arrows have booked a mouth-watering second-round CAF Confederation Cup clash against South African giants Kaizer Chiefs.
The Airmen secured their passage after completing a 4-0 aggregate victory over Madagascar’s FC Rouge, following a 2-0 win in both legs.
Red Arrows will now face Kaizer Chiefs, who received a bye into the second preliminary round. The two-legged tie is scheduled for 16–18 October, with the return leg set for 23–25 October.
The encounter presents another stern continental test for coach Chisi Mbewe and his charges, who will be looking to carry their impressive form into the next round.
The Airmen have previous experience against strong opposition in CAF competition and will be hoping to go one step further this time after falling short of the group stage in their previous Confederation Cup campaign.
For Kaizer Chiefs, the tie marks the beginning of their 2026/27 Confederation Cup campaign, with Amakhosi also targeting a deeper run in the competition.
