Super Division club Forest Rangers have confirmed the release of three of their key players who have helped the club to seventh position at the midway mark.
Forest have sold Walter Bwalya and loaned out two Congolese internationals Diego Apanane and Soutra Tshimenga to Nkana FC for a period of 5 months.
“This decision was arrived at because the three players insisted on leaving the club despite Forest Offering them good money for them to stay and push the club favour,” a statement from the club read.
Forest have also stated that they are in negotiations with power dynamos to have the services of Chiyesu Shakafunya the left back to fill in the position of left back which Diego occupied and also still in negotiations with Red Arrows to bring in Morgan Kaoma as a winger.
Both these players once played for forest in the 2013 supper league and their performance is exceptionally good.
Other players being targeted are a striker (unnamed) from Nkana and Zebron Njovu who is back from Botswana and is currently training with the club and might also join the club upon approvals from the coaches.
The ZamFoot Crew however understands that Felix Nyaende is the player who will be heading to Forest from Nkana.

Nkana really mean business. It takes courage to make certain decisions & i applud the Nkana executive for their action
Power Dynamos has been so quite on the transfer market. Is there any news happening for my team to reinforce the squad? Am sure the executive have enough insight on how to do this. If Power has to challenge for the title, reinforcement is a must at this stage.
We need all the team to do the same like the nkana has done
