Ngonga brace hands Power win over Khartoum

Power Dynamos have qualified to the first round of the CAF Confederations Cup in dramatic fashion and will have Alex Ngonga to thank for converting an injury time penalty to win 2 – 0 and progress on a 2 – 1 aggregate scoreline.

Ngonga who had earlier put Power ahead in the 20th minute kept a cool head to slot home from the spot and grab his brace with virtually the last attack of the game.

  1. Im very elated for the fact that Aka yellow has made it to the next round.to all the players keep the fire burning.technical staff & management keep on giving the needed imputs.

  2. Why is Alex Ng’onga always left out of the national team? He’s fat much better than jackson Mwanza..

    • Mwayamba, aingishakofye tubili, ati why is he left out of the national team. When he is invited, he does rubbish. Jst accept that we don’t have strikers, finish.

    • In terms of performance (Coaching) Alex Ngonga may have few equals but what is needed like with many talented players before him (Ronald Mbambara, Mbesuma, Calvin Chisha, Kelvin Mwanza, Francis “Koje” Kasonde etc) and now (Fwayo,Felix Katongo, Sakuwaha, Bruce) is in my opinion is personal management branding(Counseling) and career development (mentoring). I am prepared to offer for free Ba Dinamo supporter to Ngonga next time I’m in Kitwe as a dyonko. I am in Zimbabwe for the next two weeks right now for work and was talking to a ZIFA official about it-he’s excited and have a meeting with two of his officials on Wednesday in the evening. Our Club Executives miss this point and no wonder only coaches are held accountable in bad times (coaching) overlooking the part they need provide (Counseling and Mentoring.

  3. The coach made right changes he brought in Felix Sunzu Jr for Jimmy, Julius for Kennedy then the striking force became more sharp. Congrats Yellow Family

  4. On another note Fwayo Tembo was on target today for his Romanian team Astra in a game played away from home against FC Brasov.Fwayo came into the game as a second half substitute on the 71st minute mark when his team was trailing 1-0 and managed to salvage a draw for his team in the 80th minute. The game ended in a 1 all stalemate.

  5. Fwayo tembo is a very serious talent. We need him to help us go far in the old cup qualifiers. I hope the under 20 qualify for the world cup so we have a strong team.

    • Ba john like I,ve always told you, he needs more than talent to make it. You dont help but continuously vulching for him when he continues self distracting. Janza had done him a favour including him in his plans but the chap stopped training with Red Arrows. We dont need such bad influence players with all the talent they may have. He either shapes up or ships up for Zambia for good.

  6. Wow! Let Guinea under 17 enjoy this new status as they been thru a lot as a nation in the past 10 months or so .
Wishing the 4 representatives the best at the Mundial….Guinea,,SA,Mali n Nijah.

    • Illiiterate fool. Only interested in confrontation. We could not even go beyond the group stage at AFCON as a nation & u are foolishly rejoicing over a single coach’s exit – all becos the coach is from an African nation which is a powerhouse in Africa. Grow out of your stupidity in this forum as uncultured persons like you are a disgrace to the CONTINENT OF AFRICA.
      How narrow minded!!!!!!

  7. Ba Mumbi George Lwandamina is not the coach for Power Dynamoes. I think the Power Dynamoes gaffer is Tenant Chilumba hence your congratulatory message should be apportioned to Ba Chilumba.
