A photo of a new look Enock Mwepu has gone viral in the Zambian football space.
Mwepu was pictured with former Mali international Frederic Oumar Kanoute, the founder of 12 Man management, the agency that used to represent the former Chipolopolo skipper.
The former Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder has not been seen in public for a long time and has not been very active on social media.
Hence the glimpse of a healthy looking Enock Mwepu spotting an afro was a very welcome sight for the Zambian football fans.
Mwepu was forced to end his playing career prematurely after being diagnosed with a hereditary heart condition last October.
Mwepu, 24, who joined English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion for around £20m from Red Bull Salzburg in July 2021, was taken ill while on a flight to join his national side during the international break.
Mwepu was admitted to hospital for four days in Mali before returning to Brighton for further tests.
Mwepu is currently attached to Brighton and Hove Albion youth ranks as coach for the U9ās.
