Zambia National women’s team history-making coach Bruce Mwape has parted ways with National League side Nchanga Rangers Football Club on mutual consent.
He was re-appointed Nchanga Rangers Fc Head Coach taking over from Enos Silwimba in November 2019 was tasked to bring back Rangers to the Zambian Super League which has up to today not been attainable.
In a statement Unveiled to Zambianfootball.com, the club confirmed that Bruce Mwape and his assistants have left the club and a new Coach will be appointed this week.

mutually separated with Head Coach
Bruce Mwape.
The Club has also separated from Goalkeeper Trainer Yona Phiri, who was attached to Nchanga Rangers Football Club from the Zambia Police. The Club will announce the replacement for Coach
Mwape within the week.

places it on record that Mr.Bruce Mwape remains a respected legend of the Club despite the separation, which sometimes becomes inevitable in football.
We would like to thank him for the part he played while in charge of Nchanga Rangers Football Club “Project Return”, which solely focus on bouncing back the team to the Super Division in the current campaign of the FAZ National Division One football season.
We equally thank Coach Yona Phiri for his contribution to the development of our young goalkeepers. The Club wishes both
coaches the very best in their future endeavors.”
Nchanga Rangers are rumored to be on the verge of appointing former Kansanshi Dynamos Head Coach Isreal Mwanza to take over from Coach Bruce and will be assisted by former Nchanga Rangers Head Coach Enos Silwimba who returns as an assistant coach.
Nchanga Rangers currently sit 5th on the log table on 24 points with fourteen games played so far, seven points behind log leaders Kansanshi Dynamos.
