Kingston Mutandwa scored the winner in additional time as SV Ried left it late to edge Wolfsberger AC 1-0.
The Zambian international has been in fine form and was again the difference on Saturday evening.
The late winner means Mutandwa has now scored eight league goals so far this season in the Austrian Bundesliga and has made 10 goal contributions (8 goals and 2 assists ).
The win takes SV Ried to 20 points after 15 games and are now just five points from log leaders Redbull Salzburg.
