North African giants Morocco have arrived in the country ahead of Monday’s FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifier against Zambia.
The FIFA 2022 World Cup semi finalists arrived in Ndola on Saturday.
The Atlas Lions became the first edition to qualify for next year’s edition in America on Friday after they beat Niger 5-0.
Zambia still has a slim chance of qualifying via the intercontinental playoffs.
Should the Copper Bullets pick up the maximum points in the remaining matches, then Avram Grant’s men will go to the continental playoffs as one of four best second placed countries.
The winner from the continental playoff will head t the intercontinental playoff.
Africa has 10 automatic slots after FIFA increased from 5.
The Chipolopolo Boys has three matches remaining with Monday’s showdown at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium key.
During the October internationals, Zambia will be away to Tanzania before a home tie against Niger.
